Bruce McKenzie is a Senior Vice President in the Wealth Management group at The Northern Trust Company in Chicago. He is responsible for the supervision of a group of fiduciary professionals who advise and administer large, complex trusts, family limited partnerships, charitable trusts, and investment management accounts for individuals and families with $10 million or more in investable assets.
Bruce graduated from Dartmouth in 1981 with a degree in Government and Economics and later received a Masters in Divinity, summa cum laude, from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1986. Bruce has also completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) Program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
Bruce has served on the Global Board of Biblica, The International Bible Society since 2014. He has served on the Board of Governors for the Brookfield Zoo since 1999 where he is chairperson of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee. He is on the Advisory Boards of Breakthrough Urban Ministries, a Homeless Service Organization, where he served on the Board of Directors from 1996 to 2005, and First Rate, Inc. a privately held financial software company in Arlington, TX since 2011. Since 1992 he has been treasurer of Partners in Evangelism – Uganda that supports various church and bible school ministries in Uganda.
Bruce has been an active member of the Western Springs Baptist Church since 1999 where he teaches Sunday School and oversees Men’s ministries. He has also served in a variety of elected positions at the church over the years. Bruce lives in Western Springs, IL with his wife Debbie and their three sons, Kevin, Grant, and Ryan.
