Lindsay Whaley is a Professor of Classics and Linguistics at Dartmouth. He earned his bachelor's degree from Calvin College with a double major in Linguistics and Religion & Theology. He went on to complete both an M.A. and PhD. in Linguistics at the University of Buffalo. He joined the Dartmouth faculty in 1993. In addition to teaching, mentoring and research activities, he has served in several administrative roles, Associate Dean for International and Interdisciplinary Studies, Associate Provost and Interim Vice Provost. He has served on the board of EWS since its inception.
