Sara Holston earned her BA in English Literature from Dartmouth, where she served as the Wheelock Society's Student Director. She graduated in 2017 and, not quite ready to leave Hanover, spent a year working in Rauner Library as the Edward Connery Latham '51 Special Collections Fellow. She helped teach, process collections, and work on outreach for the library, including posting about maps, miniature books, and other treasures on instagram and the library's blog, and developing episodes of the Hindsight is 20/19 podcast on Dartmouth history.
Next, she followed her interests in storytelling and game development to San Francisco, where she worked on Episode, first on the creative side as a Story Lead and later on the production side as Story Operations Coordinator. She edited over twenty stories for release as featured content, developed new training programs for writers and visual directors, and pitched a game currently in development. She is now studying law at HLS.
After setting a record for articles written at The DartmouthApologia, Sara also helped revive Fare Forward as an Editor in 2020. She has contributed several essays and reviews, and currently serves as Managing Editor for the publication.
